An evening to discover the European programme S+T+ARTS, which focuses on the intersection between Science, Technology and Art, starting from the need to direct technological and scientific innovation towards the resolution of the great challenges of the present, first and foremost the ecological transition and climate emergency.

The presentation of the new essay Server Manifesto opens the evening with a conversation between authors Niklas Maak and Francesca Bria on the architecture of data centres and the relationship between technology, democracy and public space. The presentation will be moderated by Pippo Ciorra, senior curator at MAXXI Architettura.
This will be followed by two in-depth discussions about some of the pioneering cooperation projects in Europe. From Markus Jeschaunig‘s path on the biosphere, to Samira Benini Allaouat‘s bacteria-powered lights, to Adriana Knouf‘s solar sail for extraterrestrial travel, we will meet the artists currently exhibiting in Milan, Rome and Karlsruhe curated by Manuel Cirauqui.
